A new central gathering and play space responding to its locale, appears to be an overscaled Pinecone that fell to the forest floor. This pinecone is constructed by a network of unique scales, each one designed and created by an individual camper. Once assembled, this centerpiece-project commemorates the expression of individuality while also creating a space to gather for the entire group, ultimately celebrating the art of building something with each other, for each other.
